Handpull cask at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Dark gold and very clear. Spotty head, just off-white, leaves lots of lacing. Light honey and herbal aroma, pleasant but nondescript. Tastes very nice actually: an initial sweet taste shot through with floral and honey flavours gets quickly usurped by a spicy hop bitterness, which leads the beer to a long bitter finish. More orange blossom honey and cooking herbs in the aftertaste. Simple but well-executed.

Tried at the west end tap. Golden colour with a lasting white head. Aroma light malty. Taste slight floral sweet to dry finish. Light easy to drink summer beer although it's just started to rain.

Cask. Clear, bright gold. Thick, dense, creamy, sticky, lasting, white head. Looks like the kind of beer my dad would rave about. Nose has soft, toffee malts. Light, old world, spicy hop. A bit buttery, but ok buttery, not bad buttery. Taste is soft sweet. Light body. Creamy mouthfeel. Some caramel on the finish.
