Bottle from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Golden-blonde with a small head. Has a session strength fruity-bitterness, with the latter developing a little more in its aftertaste.

12/2/2019. Bottle from Crosby Beer Shop, Merseyside. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toast, butter and hops. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Medium body, sticky texture, above average carbonation. Sweet toasted finish. Not good.

Bottle from Crossby Beer Shop, Crossby. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, buttery and labre larver. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Yuck. 110219

Bottle from Crosby Beer Shop, Crosby. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are butter, bread, marmelade and hops. Not good.

Bottle from Homebrew Bottle Shop, Oxton in Birkenhead. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - butterscotch and caramel up front. Some citrus but the sweet notes are dominant. Taste - more caramel and add biscuit. Palate - close to medium bodied. The finish is cloying. Overall - too sweet. Needs more early hopping.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Red Star Formby Blonde ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, butterscotch notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160219]
