From cask at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, 01.02.22. Clear dark golden. Dense off-white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, succade and meadowy hops. Very drinkable! Appropriately unvarbonated.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival at KEGS. Cask. This is called ’Checkpoint Charlie’. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has fine carbonation. Clean pale malts, mildly sweet. Light marmalade and a little grapefruit in to mildly tangy floralness. Light finish. Clean.
