Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England [ As Animal Gobble ].Clear dark brown color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light chocolate. IMO oyster stout alike aroma. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141202]

Cask, handpump at St Aldates Tavern, Oxford in company of Grace after works Christmas meal, Thursday 18th December 2014. Pours dark brown with a scattering of light beige bubbles. Pleasant stout that offers a good fruity bite and jolly good hoppy bite amongst the dark roasty malts. Really likeable. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry with just modest fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, little dark chocolate. Mellow dark.fruits. Light dry finish with a little chocolate lingering on. Okay.
