Aged it for 10 months in Catoctin Creek Rye Whiskey barrels. The interplay of caramel, vanilla and nutty flavors from the barrel danced in delicate harmony with the roasted chocolate notes of the stout. For this variation, our Head Brewer fired up the oven and hand roasted 10 pounds of pecans and aged the beer on it. Beautiful notes of pecan pie, molasses and wonder.

Bottle shared at share: pours black with beige head. Aroma os chocolate and vanilla, some whiskey. Plenty of pecans. Fun. Taste is sweet, lightly boozy. Solid.
