From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Lots of bubbles. Sweet winey malt aroma. Tasty fruity malt flavor hints at toaste bread. Decent body and flavor. Light herbal hop finish.

Big Bottle. Poured light golden in color with tall (quickly dissipating) white head. What aroma was there was weak and a bit skunky. Nice beer considering. Malty and sweet with a bit of bitterness thanks to the above average level of carbonation. Probably won’t have it again. Old rating from way back.

Ditto Indra's comments about being better than expected. Much fuller and maltier than your average African lager. I also like Casablanca Beer from Morocco as a similarly enjoyable brew.
