Cask at the Bootlegger, 23/07/17. Clear golden amber with a well presented cream cap. Nose is mellow citric peel, bread dough, caramel, light spice. Taste comprises biscuit crumble, caramel, orange marmalade, light spice, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Decent enough cask affair.

Cask at Heidrun, Wycombe. I see this has been added as an amber ale, but would say it’s somewhere between a golden and a bitter - definitely not an amber. As always Heidrun served it in super condition. It’s a golden-amber brew with a middling white head. Nice refreshing lemon flavours are backed up with a good malt backbone. One of the better Rebellion monthlies of the last year, which admittedly doesn’t say much. Nice and refreshing and very drinkable though.

On tap at the brewery. A bright amber pour with a thick cream head; simple malty aroma; malty taste with some citrus; and a biscuity finish. A straightforward malty bitter.
