Brewed exclusively for Beer52. Made with New Zealand whole hops, pellets and extracts as voted for by Beer52 subscribers, this beer shows the varieties of flavours the hops of this proud nation have to offer. The nose is of tangy lemon cheese cake from the Limonata hop extract, with a juicy balanced palette and hints of tangerine marmalade and pine. The burst is a definite lemon refresher and sorbet vibe to give it a crisp lingering finish.

Slightly hazy golden beer, decent white head. Aroma and taste are both dry, grassy. grapefruity. Lingering dry finish. Quite nice.

First bottle of many from the Beer52 subscription that my wonderful wife got for me. Pours a hazy pale amber with a middling white head. Lime and lemon up front then a piney bitterness and a dry finish. It’s maybe a little thin and the flavours are quite light for the style, but nevertheless it’s pleasant and refreshing- a good summer beer. Nice, a decent start to the subscription.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A murky straw coloured pour with an immediately fading white head, leaving a flat, unappealling looking beer; light sweet lemon aroma; sharper lemon taste, then mellowing slightly with some pine and grapefruit; the finish is long and bitter but very muddled. Worth a try, but not a beer I’d return to.
