Our new ale for the spring. It’s named after and in honour of the celebrations in nearby Hungerford. We dry-hopped the beer during maturation using Sussex hops which give a hint of lemon to the beer. So look out for this one in the local shops.

50cl bottle from Cold Ash Post Office, Newbury at a stated ABV of 4.7%.. A rather murky dark amber pour with a loose cream head; sweet malty bock-like aroma; full-bodied with a pleasantly meony taste; and a dry malty finish with a touch of spice. Pleasantly different.

Cask at Reading BF. Dark amber. Caramel with a hint of citrus an earthy and slightly metallic bitterness. Ok I guess.
