A slightly sparkling medium cider with a refreshing sharpness and a slight pinkish tinge. Best served chilled.
Here at Worley’s we only bottle a Single Variety cider if we ferment a batch that truly deserves special recognition, and we think this Stoke Red cider from the 2013 harvest is a corker. A small, late-season bittersharp apple, Stoke Red can yield a clean and balanced cider, with plenty of fruity sharpness, rounded tannins and a characteristic fragrance, and this is a fine example.

A5.5 c5 Bottle from producer’s own stall at Salisbury Christmas Market. Deep golden copper in colour. Crisp sharp fresh apples up front with a lightly sparkling mouthfeel. Dry finish with a pleasant bit of mouth-puckering sourness. Good cider.

Keg @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Clear and very pale. Quite sweet and it lingers in the palate. Has a very good nose and plenty of taste.
