Gravity cask at the Draymans Son, Ely. Dark brown and a trifle translucent. Wispy bit of light tan head and loads of lacing. Liquorice is prevalent in the mild and slightly astringent smell. Gorgeous taste, with the sweetness fading quickly in place of a sharp and pronounced aniseedy bitterness. Bitter liquorice aftertaste. Lovely and one to look out for.
