Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Clear dark amber topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is red grapefruit, spice, candied fruit, trace of pine, earthy hops. Taste comprises caramel malt, spice, candyfloss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent bitter, almost a hoppy amber affair.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Light malts but rich in flavour, little dark character and mildly tangy. Marmalade and dried fruits before a light and floral bitter finish. Tasty bitter.
