Hand-pulled half-pint in the Head of Steam (Liverpool), early evening 15th May 2025. Amber body, clean and clear, full on off-white crown. Fairly sweet Bitter with a good dollop of caramel malts, almost evened out with a woody hop bitterness.

At the Liverpool One Shopping Centre in the city centre, Everton FC have their own shop, and have called it Everton Two - hence the first line of the address is Everton Two Liverpool One!!! Looks like a best with a darker golden glow, not too bitter at all, smooth, slipping down the palate with ease.

One-third pint. Off-white head, clear amber-brown body, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of brown malts and scents of dried fruits, Balanced taste character of caramel malts, bread and a backdrop of resinous bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).
