Draught @ The Flying Chariot, Terminal 2, Heathrow Airport. Pours light golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grass, fruity hops, sweet citrus, oranges. Flavor is light sweet, malt, fruity, orange. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 140317

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Trumans Ben Truman Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, caramel, riped fruit, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, riped fruit, sweet fruit, pale malt - caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Grove, Ealing 31/10/2014. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Mandarin orange fruits, some floral hops, sweet, slightly biscuity malts and a gentle finish. Enjoyable.

3rd October 2014
Cock Tavern. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest carbonation. Very light pale malts but fairly sweet. Mild but sweet floralness. Nice orange - tangerine hops with traces of lemon and tropical fruits. Finishes floral dry. Tasty if slightly on the sweet side.

Cask at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Sugary white bread in the nose - and little else. Medium sweet flavor with syrupy sugars, some tangerine, berries, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish with lightly bitter hay and grass, along with further ripe berries. Very basic.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, 13/10/14. Golden amber with a moderate beige covering. Nose is sweet malt, caramel, bitter orange, light spice, hops present. Taste comprises bready malt, sweet potatoes, caramel, citric rind, ornage peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet licks in the close. Ok.
