ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, a few short lived tan bubbles never form a head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, slightly tangy and with a good fruity dark chocolate. Chocolate liqueur. A mild savoury vibe, not particularly peanut. Fruity dark chocolate finish with a little alcohol spice. Very dark chocolate and, that's a good thing.

Sample kindly served by Doug. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: mostly chocolate, with some coconut, light notes of peanuts, and some American oak. Complex and multi-layered. Taste: bold, a lot of American oak, some chocolate, and peanuts, but not much. Overall: very balanced and nicely integrated product.
