341ml bottle. aroma of cooked veggies, cheap malts, and a whole lot of corn. good mouth feel, and good carb. the finish is corny, mealy, and wet almost mold grains. this is bad.

Originally rated June 2005. Bought this one in a 24 pack (the only way to get this at The Beer Store in Ontario). This is a beer that use to be popular at one time (20 some years ago), but now just doesn’t sell anymore. The colours on the box (and label) are super outdated. Pours a golden colour with a decent head. Spots of foamy lacing is left. The carbonation is slow and medium in size and quantity. Aroma of grain malt. So is the taste, with a mild sweetness. Nothing extremely crazy here, but good for swilling... when you want an alternative to a lager. One day, you will probably not see this beer anymore, as the regular move on to the other side. After collecting the bottle caps of this brew when I was young, and not hearing about this brew for the last 15-20 years... I am glad I could try this one.

I agree with the last commenter. How the hell can you make such terrible beer for so long? Jesus. That being said, it’s a far cry better than many molson products. By better i mean less bad.

Can sampled at a friend's place. Watered down, extremely bland, though not as vile as I anticipated. Nothing going on here - quite shit.

Relatively bland golden ale, consumed mostly in Legion halls and retirement homes by old cobbers who want the fuller tasting beer they remember but don't 'get' these new-fangled microbrews.
