In celebration of Vancouver Craft Beer Week, 28 of British Columbia’s finest breweries have banded together to create a Cascadian Dark Ale, a style that originated in the Pacific Northwest. We trust you’ll enjoy the robust dark malt body and hoppy backbone of this finely crafted ale. Proceeds from the sale of this beer are donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society Tsunami Relief Fund. Draught at the Tin Whistle brewery taproom
Black color; generous creamy head. A rich chocolate beer, with some good hopping appearing on surface, well bitter too. Good.

Medium brown. Woody hop character and light dark malts. Thin and a bit husky with harsh hops and some toasty hop character. Not coming together all that well.

650mL bottle, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma is heavy on roasted malts, burnt espresso and potent hops. Flavour begins with heavy espresso beans, burnt / roasted malt, finishing with a potent hoppiness. Well done CDA.
