Cask days 2012. Amber pour, small white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus fruit, grapefruit, and oranges. Light pine. Some soft resins. High bitterness, soapy pine flavour. Grassy, citrus finish. Quite nice

Below average ipa. Pours clear orange with good lacing and some head. Aroma of malt and hops without distinguishing characteristic in hop variety. Average carbonation bitter finish. Tap at beerhall.

This IPA poured a lightly cloudy, dark amber colour with a quick living, off white head. Scents include caramel, toast, grassy hops and a little rum. First sip was quite hoppy with flavours of malt, spruce and butterscotch. Finish is bitter with rum & butter flavour along with spruce lingering...

355mL bottle (listed as 7.2%), pours a clear golden / copper with a medium beige head. Aroma of musty, earthy hops, some herbal notes and biscuity notes. Flavour is quite refreshing, with earthy hops, some herbal notes, and spicy biscuity malts. Very well-balanced and refreshing IPA. Good stuff.

Part of their new 6-pack sampler celebrating 10 great years. Pours a clean copper colour with an off-white cap that is bubbly, creamy, with great retention and loads of lace. They must of upped the alcohol content as it is written 7.2% ABV on the front label. Beautiful cascade hop aromas with mild grainy malts in the background. Medium-bodied with a nice warming smoothness to it. The hop is nicely balanced in the taste, between the medium bitterness, the medium dryness and the alcohol warmth. This is actually quite nice and different overall. A very good IPA from Mill Street and congrats on the 10 years (and for building a pub in Ottawa... and being at Bluesfest).
