This is much better than the elderflower session mead. bright red color and clear. Some honey in the flavor and aroma, good carbonation, hibiscus, and honey aftertaste. Aroma smells sweeter than it actually tastes.

Sampled from the bottle at ABR 2015. Pours a clear reddish pink with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet honey, hibiscus and light flora. Flavor combines slightly tart hibiscus with sweet honey and a bit of dryness.

On tap at Capitol Cider, pours a clear amber with no head. Nose brings out treacle toffee and light hibiscus. Flavour is extremely light, with berries, light hibiscus and subtle honey. Pretty dry - it *is* a light session mead after all. Not bad.
