Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Golden color, small head. Light smoked aroma, the smoke flavor is more evident; dry mouthfeel; the barrel aging clashes with the smoke, and the final is rather unpleasant.
Messy.

Draft, Alibi Room. Ugly dull tan. No head. Faint aroma, just a touch of smoke. Light, nice smokey character but the malts are a mess, no character at all just dull, lifeless.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out mostly smoked malt and barely any red wine notes. Flavour is mostly heavy on the smoke - I don't get any red wine at all. Maybe a touch of sweetness on the finish. Decent for what it is, but leaves something to be desired.
