Dark brown, big liquorice nose, sweet taste, soft and smooth, but with a lot of liquorice, with a slight tartness late.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Black color with thin brown head. Lean, moderately sweet, less strong than expected; nice mix of dark malts, with enough chocolate, and a note of buckwheat. Balanced, very nice.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours jet black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out rich oats, some cocoa, and light roast. Flavour is kind of weak for an impie stout, with roasted malt, some metallic notes, some dry cocoa and some oatmeal. Rather thin on the palate, but it's well-balanced. Leaves something to be desired, but it's perfectly drinkable.
