On tap at Big Rock, pours a cloudy golden with a medium off-white head. Nose brings out cereal malt and a slight floral hop tinge. Flavour is a little more robust, with crackery malt and a strong hop presence to back. Crisp and clean. Very drinkable but not overly interesting.

On tap. Pours a dark, cloudy amber with moderate head. Aromas of toast and light fruit. Light flavors of wet malts and bittering hops, unfortunately without much flavor. Maybe stale?

Draught at Big Rock Urban Brewery, Vancouver
Hazy amber color. The malts are a bit cereally; it’s rather dry, but also metallic; strong bitterness but not much hop quality. A Pale Ale that goes close to boring Amber Ales, defined more by the color than by the character. Traces of diacetyl. Not a bad beer though.

Murky and light amber with a thick head. Aroma is a bit toasty, with light citrusy hop. Toasty palate with a decent bitterness, but it’s kind of yeasty and lacks hop brightness. It’s not bad, but you can see how it would be better.
