Draught at Brouwer’s Café, Seattle
Hazy amber color, compact head. The aroma is very piney, a bit bready; very nice. Dry mouthfeel, smooth, the malt flavor is mild, nice citrusy hopping, with some chamomile.
Very nice.

Pours a hazy no cloudy gold. An inch of foam. Some lacing.

All hop bitterness in the nose to me. Typical of this sub style. Pine and grapefruit.

Piney, grapefruit, hoppy without any balance from malt. My chief criticism of so called session IPAs.

Light bodied and bordering on the watery in the finish.

Low abvs are nice when done right. I have yet to be superly impressed with any so called session IPA.

Draft @ Bier Thirty. Copper golden color with a thick finger of beige head. Fruity hops aroma, citrus and tropical fruit. Sweet tastes with moderate bitterness. Fruity (blueberry?) tropical and citrus notes. Lingering floral hops. Has wet/fresh hop moments, but finished dry.

On tap at Backcountry Pizza, for their 5th Anniversary party. Dark orange, with a small, off-white head. The nose is caramel, candy orange slices, light pine, and syrup. Sweet and malty, with a nice, mellow bitterness. Light to medium body, crisp, and clean. This is a nicely aromatic beer, with good balance and mouthfeel.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a hazy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is super dank, not smelling like a typical ISA, with lots of pot-like hop essence. Flavour is similar, with dank pot-like hops dominating. Fairly dry and a touch of astringency on the finish. Solid stuff.
