On tap at Brouwer's Cafe for Big Wood 2015, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out licorice, some absinthe and Belgian yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, with licorice, Belgian yeast and some floral notes. Dominated by the Aquavit. Decent, but not really my thing.

Hazy dull tan, spicy aroma has liquorice, malts, alcohol; strong, with lots of pale malt, very herbal, aquavit character, tart finish. Complex, tasty and pretty well balanced.
