Urban Off the Richter

Draught at Big Rock Urban Brewery, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color with generous creamy head. The aroma has a lot of rough hops, a bit footy, yeasty. Strong body, moderate sweetness, the malt flavor is non deScriptive, the bitterness is strong as expected, the hops are very resiny, but it’s also rather yeasty, and it has a sturdy, earthy character. The final is a bit peppery.
I can see why somebody may not like it.
Dirty.
Ok beer, but not the IIPA that you want to brew in 2016.

On tap. Pours hazy amber with light head Aromas of grapefruit, fruit jelly and sweet malts Flavors of bready malts, spicy citrus, pineapple and light pine. Fruity with a good bit of ABV dryness.

On tap at Big Rock Urban, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of piney hops, cereal malt and some sweet caramel. Flavour is reasonably balanced but on the sweet side, with cereal malts, caramel and some resins. Sticky and sweet without being cloying, with an adequate hop presence. Not the most complex IIPA out there, but it's decent.

Muddy light brown with a thin head. The aroma is muddled hop. The taste also, with mild bitterness, lots of yeast, and some softer sweeter malts. Drinks a bit lighter than you’d expect.
