HOUTGERIJPTE PALE ALE MET BRETTANOMYCES
Loof is onze houtgerijpte pale ale met Brettanomyces. Dit type pale ale is een traditionele Engelse stijl die minder nadruk legt op hop en juist meer op gist- en houtkarakter.
Loof heeft 5 maanden gerijpt op een eikenhouten wijnvat, wat een zachte, ronde, volle bitterheid geeft met warme mouttonen. In de geur vind je friszoete aroma’s van sinaasappel en marmelade, met een tropische toets van rijpe mango en papaya van de Brettanomyces.

Draught @ BAF 2017 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Nevel Loof ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cookie, grain, hay, pale malt, sweet malt, grapes, funky notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, wheat, cookie, sweet malt, pale malt, funky. 17/09/2017 - draught small glass shared with 77ships and tderoeck @Hedonis Ambachtsfest. Clear golden, small lacing on top. Nose is thin a bit pilsner-like. Taste is fruits, malty, sweet touch.

Tap at BAF 2017. Almost clear light golden with white head. Sour grains, apple, light sweaty funk, gooseberries, soft hops, suphur. Light sweet and sour and bitter. Light bodied.

On tap at Kaapse After Borefts Beer Festival, Rotterdam, Netherlands, Sunday 23rd September 2017. Pours hazy warm gold with a filmy white head. Nice tangy wild beer, good funky fruity beer and very refreshing after a 22.25 mile cycle ride. Buzzy bite. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
