Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Milestone Lock Keeper ].Clear light medium brown amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, caramel, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, wood, roasted - toasted, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]

Cask @ Waddington Arms, Waddington. Caramel coloured with a creamy head. Bitter in character with plenty of grain in its taste alongside a caramel sweetness.

Half-pint at the 2014 Lincoln beer festival. Nice chestnut coloured body with an off-white covering. Dry mouthfeel and aftertaste but leaning towards maltiness in both the aroma and taste, mild fruitiness just below the surface: easy drinking Bitter.
