The snow is flying, the mountains have opened up, it’s time we released a dark and foreboding Stout. Bonfire is rich, bold and full of roasted barley and chocolate malts with a hint of campfire smoke lurking in the background. Tame the beast. Drink the pudding.

On tap. Pours black with moderate head. Aromas of greasy smoke and cola. Flavors follow same with additional minerals and thin roasted malt. Simple but pleasant

Draught at Bomber, Vancouver; 5.5% ABV
Black color. Notes of coffee and cardboard, the low carbonation helps, fire wood, not too ashy, and with notes of dark chocolate in the final.
Nice.

On tap at Bomber, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oats, roasted barley and dry cocoa. Flavour is very dry, with lots of roasted barley upfront, followed by dry cocoa and some oats. Medium-bodied, hearty and well-balanced. Very nice stuff.

Dark brown, thin head, has a light roasty nose. Light smokey taste, chocolate and roast. Decent stout, I like that little bit of smoke to it.
