We may age pFriem Wit with Brettanomyces wild yeast for six long months to create Brett Wit, but the beer’s aromas of gingerbread and orange peel, and notes of orange sickle, grape and cinnamon taste as fresh as a daisy.

3750ml bottle pours out a straw color topped with a white head. Nose is light Brett a touch of sour notes and a little wheat. Taste is more of the light Brett some bread and a touch of floral.

Hazy, pale, thin head. Brett is prominent, and then on the palate it has subtle brett, delicate pale malts, the sweetness is tasty.

On tap at Portland Craft, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out light farmhouse funk, followed by citrus and light coriander. Flavour is nicely funky, with moderate brett character upfront, followed by light coriander and a touch of citrus. Bone dry and lightly funky on the finish. Very nice.
