Bitter, has a nice chocolate and a bit of leafy hop. Really nicely balanced character. CDA? Of course I liked it.

On tap at Flying Bike, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and light piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, piney hops and a little roast. Nice balanced, with a dry and lightly bitter finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma combines roasted malts and pine with some semi sweet dark grains supporting. Flavor has a bit of chalky dark grains with growing pine and light roasted malts.
