This kettle soured ale is proof that sometimes the best notes fall outside traditional scales. Bass Shaker is an ale infused with peaches, augmented with lively lactobacillus & oak aged to add a little bottom end. Shake a leg and step to the sour note.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto, peaches, and tons of yogurt. Flavour is very yogurty, with tons of lacto that dominates, followed by lightly sweet peaches. A total lacto bomb. Not overly deep, but it's drinkable. Meh.

A touch of haze, and light amber. Crackery nose with a touch of peach.Has a sweet candy peach taste, overtop of some yeasty, musty tart stuff. Like trying to bury a sloppy berliner under peach syrup...not sure this is working for me at all.
