Blonde. Gooseberry, sweeter fruit, nice nose. Thin head. Bitter, grapefruit rind, some woody hop accents, touch of weed. Malts are kind of biscuity. Nice.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a hazy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops, a floral character and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is robust, with lots of piney hops, a blast of citrus and crisp crackery malt. Finishes citrusy. Assertive yet appropriately balanced. Excellent.

On draught at the Seal Beach brewpub. Clear orange-gold color with a medium thin bone white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Sticky partial sheets of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a resiny hop aftertaste. Good beer all around.
