Draught @ Alibi. Golden brown colour, buttery as all hell. Yes that’s all I get, on the nose and on the palate is diacetyl. Gross.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a murky dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy smoked malt, some campfire, light butter and subtle dark dried fruits. Flavour is similar, bringing out lightly sweet campfire smoke, some caramel and a touch of dried dark fruits. The butter isn't too detracting. Good sweetness in there, with a very rounded smoke character. Really nice despite the flaw.
