Dark brown, thin bubbly head. Fruity, raisin and toffee. Soft, bit sticky, restrained esters. Decent...not as big or complex as the best of style but not bad.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oak upfront, with some subdued candied sugar and toasted caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with subdued cognac barrels, candied sugar, oak and toasted caramel. A little faded, maybe due to the 3rd use cognac barrels, but nicely balanced. Good stuff.
