Black, inky. Big lemongrass "Thai" notes. I don't really know why I'm picking that up - something from the barrel or maybe I'm just on crack. Has a lot of sugar sweetness. Thinner than nose promised, but still some decent spice notes.

Bottle at Black Christmas 2017
Black color. An Imperial Stout with too strong star anise, mint character, it doesn't really click for me.

750mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is very spicy, with bourbon barrels, spicy rye and roasted malt. Flavour is extremely spicy, with lots of earthy rye barrels, bourbon barrels, and booze. Spicy as hell, with the rye really dominating. Very good.

A pour from the bottle on Black Christmas V. Pours am almost black with a dark beige head. Aroma is lots of rosehip berries and some pharmacy notes. Similar taste with some barrel notes. Not bad.
