Greater Key is an IPA brewed with Pilsner and two row malt. Along with malted and flaked oats, it was hopped entirely with whole cone Citra in the mash tun and kettle, as well as a massive addition in our hop back. Fermented with a blend of some of our favorited British ale yeast, it was then dry-Hopped with another large addition of Citra.

Hazy and sort of dull, with a bubbly head. Sort of an overripe fruity hop nose. Dank hops all over this. Just enough malt but also a bit yeasty. Not finding this one all that compelling.

Draft pour enjoyed at Holy Mountain. Thick appearance, juicy orange haze. Aroma is pretty dank on the Citra hops. Grassy, and a touch piney. A little surprised this is Citra really. Doesnt have some of the signature qualities I thought I knew. Earthy malts, grassy hops, balanced well. A slight bite that lingers on. A pretty solid IPA here. 3 IPAs on at Holy Mountain right now. Crazy!

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out modestly dank hops upfront, with toasted biscuity malt and light citrus. Flavour is alonth the same lines, with bitter dank hops, earthy notes and pine. Dank and bitter finish, but well-rounded and with good depth. Very good.
