Collective Unconscious was brewed with Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter and German Pilsner malt along with flaked barley and flaked oats. It was hopped late in the boil with a beautiful lot of Nelson Sauvin as well as Galaxy and Mosaic. It was fermented with a blend of two of our favorite English yeast strains and then dry-hopped with a heavy dose Of Nelson and a lighter blend of Mosaic and Galaxy.

Cloudy, no head, aroma is a bit catty, fairly bitter, heavier pale malts, and a splash of alcohol. Not my type of IPA, really.

On tap at Holy Mountain, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma bursts with clean tropical fruits, piney hops, oats and citrus tang from the Nelson. Flavour bursts with the tangy citrus hops - that Nelson is used beautifully - with light pine, light dankness, and crisp biscuity malt. Clean, lightly bitter and beautifully tangy. Excellent.
