Bottle at Appellation Wines tasting. Hazy golden body with tiny yeast flecks floating beneath a thin white head. Aroma of marmalade, hay and toffee. Flavour of orange and caramel with a tangy finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Very sharp and tangy but still an enjoyable beer.

33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a slightly transparent white head. Quite a bit of sedimentation at the bottom of the bottle. Smells of caramel, honey, farmhouse funk, grapefruit, lemon zest. Bitter taste, with notes of grapefruit, lemon zest, green tea and honey.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, orange, tangerine, lemon, pale malty background. Taste is dry, bitter and citrusy hoppy, slightly grassy, zesty notes of orange and tangerine, hints of lemon and grapefruit, minimally sweet pale malty basis. Not easily drinkable due to challenging bitterness.

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer with a small, dense white head. Some curtains. The aroma is lightly peachy with pale malts, pine cones and a faint tropical touch. It’s medium bodied, soft and smooth on the palate, with flavors of pine cones, peach hints and some pale malts. Long fruity and piney finish. A decent beer, but nothing special going on. 160213
