Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, sugar, and a touch of chocolate. Sweet sugary flavour with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Decent sweet Bock, expected a bit more "bokkepootjes".

Ik weet helaas nog niet waar dit bier gebrouwen wordt. Maar in ieder geval uit de fles geproefd in Ermelo. Poepbruine kleur. Iets roast, boter en toffee in geur en smaak. Zoet, klein fruitzuurtje. Perzikken uit blik. Honing. Eigenaardige nasmaak maar best lekker.

So maybe an ok bitterness after all Just a bit to sweet. But it is a dobbel bock Dried fruits, malty, nutty and toffee in the flavor [Bottle from Gundersen]

Tap at Lokaal Duinoord. Clear dark brown with beige head. Sweet brown sugar and toffee, soft vanilla, earthy leaves, brown bread, fresh figs. Bit over medium sweet and lasting over medium bitterness. Bit over medium bodied with oily feel. Quite a decent dubbelbock.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have candy sugar and bittersweet caramel malts. Light chocolate too. Delivers on the promise and remains well balanced.

Beautiful clear metallic redcopper beer under a good dense cream-beige head. Sweet, caramelly, toffee, molasses, bread, dry autumn leaves. Much drier taste, wry-er even bitter flavour. Underlying molasses and caramel, but not really sweet. Vegetable bitterness, dry leaves, bitterish-metallic finish. Oily, slick, but not really well bodied. Not bad, dry-ish which is not what the nose would have us believe.
