4.3-4.8% abv. Malted barley, oats. The equivalent to Table Beer in our range of stouts and porters. Not brewed to 'dry stout'-style, per se, but a stout that is dry. Light-bodied but not thin, with more prominent kettle-hopping and then dry-hopping to add some brightness and contrast to the roasty, biscuity, and savoury character of the dark malts.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a lasting, frothy beige cap. Light sweet flavour with rich, ashy roast, hearty black coffee, earth, baking cocoa, burnt pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Bitter, dry and ashy to finish. Superb.

Cask at Mother Arch II, 12/04/24. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, dried fruit esters, hint of liquorice, dusty hops. Taste comprises chocolate shavings, dark malts, dried red berries, cocoa powder, light ashen nip, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced earthy roast and dusty hop interplay. Solid flavoursome cask stout.

Cask at kernel arch 7. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting loose khaki head.. Aroma is woody piney, brown sugars woody, lihjt bark.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty roast, piney hop, citrus, oily, woody, authentic.. Palate is semi sweet, mellow carbonation. Good stuff.
