Panda, courtesy of SHIG, pours with a light mahogany colored body that has thin deep copper hued edges and supporting a thin ring of tan bubbles. The aroma offers up a pleasing blend of boozy infused figs, dates and plums followed closely by smooth rum. Oh my. The taste ushers in notes of smooth rich sweet malts as well as molasses infused sweet date and plum dark fruity esters. To midway a slick smooth sweet rum character joins in to increase the depth, complexity and fun of this solid sipper. Terrific stuff.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Clear deep brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, not very complex but with a good dark toffee. Soft rum with a quite a red wine berry vibe on the back end with both dark and red berries. Smooth finish. Comes together beautifully and is very drinkalble.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 16/03/24. Deep mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to the edge. Nose is fruit cake mix, rummy rinse, dates, figs, stewed fruits, molasses, brown sugar melt, toffee. Taste comprises ripe fruits, molasses, candied fruit rinds, toffee fudge, brown sugar melt, sweet edged, figgy jam. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost and good rummy cloak. Solid.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown black with a finger creamy light brown head. Aroma is dark fruits, figgy, rich malts, boozy, raisin, rum. Taste is very boozy, sticky dark fruits, figs and raisin, light alcohol, toffee, caramel, rich malts. This one rocks!
