Handpull cask at the Fat Cat & Canary. Eddish brown and clear with a smallish loose off-white head. Woody aroma, light malts, a touch of smoke. Sweet initial taste gives way to a decent little bitter finish. Suggestion of berries in the aftertaste. A pretty basic bitter but an enjoyable one.

Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2023, day 3 - Hackney. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy, off-white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of well toasted biscuits, leafy hops, a little earth, dried citrus, weak coffee. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Alright condition. Finishes with notes of toasted malts and biscuits, mild earthy bitterness, leafy accents, tea, earth, orange peel. Nice, tame bitter.
