Keg at the Crewe Dog, 26/01/24. Clear golden to light amber with a just off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is biscuit, grains, orange zest, straw. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, melon, grains, caramel, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close punctured briefly with modest earthy hop bitterness. So so pale ... struggling to stay in 3rd gear never mind pull out of it!

Tap at the source. A mostly clear bight golden coloured pour with a lasting white foam. Aroma is semi sweet, mellow citrus, little buttered bread, grass, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, buttered bread, grass, some diacetyl, burnt grass, mineral. Palate is semi sweet, chalky, airy carbonation. Meh.
