This winter brew is an ode to the colorful characters—those who flatten snow in the wee hours of the night, ascending into darkness without fear, and living in a world of powder. It is for these “Midnight Marauders” that we took some local artisanal roasted coffee from Coda Coffee Company and brewed it up in a stout made up of a complex blend of roasted malts. Enjoy this beer in the morning or evening, to get you through the long winter months.
We are very excited to introduce the Snowcat blend! The Snowcat Blend was born from a partnership with Coda Coffee, and its fruit-forward flavor profile is sure to please. The citrus acidity and floral undertones make for a beautiful cup no matter how you brew it.

(Can) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, black rye bread, dark chocolate, orange peel and roasted nuts. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, black rye bread, dark chocolate, some citrus peel, hazelnuts, liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Not really complex, but tasty and well made. Quite nice.

Black snowcat. Not that surprisingly. Solid lasting beige head. Looks good. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Roast and coffee. Decent body. Quite easy drinkable. Pleasant carbonation level. Semi dry. Lots of roast in this one. Also cold coffee and dark malt.

12oz bottle pours a lightly watery, dark brown / black with some clumpy, off white head. Nose had some stout, toast, grist, grain, a little brown sugar, some sweetened coffee notes. Coffee comes through a little better in the flavor, where the stout is also more obvious, toast, brown sugar, mild chocolate. Dry finish.
