Gravity cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16 (ABV at 7.5%). Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is peach, grapefruit, bitter hops. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, bread dough, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness and rising alcohol. Would probably be better suited on keg but not bad for a cask DIPA.

Cask at the The Talbot, a lovely Flatiron pub in Ripley, Derbyshire, 08-07-10 This was 9% on the pumpclip. Looks fantastic, beautiful copper colour, great clarity. This is tangy at first but soon swamped in a nano second by a heavy cloying sweetness. This is chewy, bit of a fragrant nose, interesting and glad we got to try this as my dad had been desperately seeking this one. Ok but could have been so much better. A5 A5 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0
