Keighley & Worth Valley Beer Festival 2017. Clear golden ale. It’s a steady hoppy brew with a bitterness that lingers.

Another 500ml bottle from an Edinburgh Aldi. Shared with a mate on 25th Oct 2014. The beer poured a reddy brown colour, sparse wisp for a head. Semi-sweet caramel maltiness with fruity hint in the aroma. The taste is also malt first and again with some fruitiness. Different and enjoyable: decent body depth and flavours.

On cask @ the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - some red fruits as well as some apple. Also, a nice malty note lurking. Taste - more of the same. The fruit and malt is very well integrated. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah, like this!
