Cask at the Vanbrugh, Greenwich. Gold pour with a white head. Spice, grapefruit, bitter lemon, nelted butter in the nose. Flavours of grapefruit, splash of vanilla, lemon sherbet. Bitter finish. Not bad.

Pale golden beer, white head. Mellow citrus aroma so it caught me out when it’s quite tart and tangy in the mouth. A bit too much for me on that front, a borderline sour. Not for me.

Cask at Ushers. It pours hazy pale gold with a tiny white head. The nose is soft, fresh, light lemon, grapefruit and light sweetness. The taste is soft, grainy, dough, lemon, grapefruit, light spice and straw with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot to it. Simple.

On cask at the Grosvenor Appearance - golden with a slight gaze and a nice head. Nose - grapefruit and hay. Very clean and fresh. Taste - lashings of grapefruit and lemon. Just a touch of honey sweetness on the end. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry refreshing finish. Overall - a thirst quenching summer beer.

Cask @ Malt and Hops, Edinburgh [281013]
Light blonde, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of dull pale sweet malts, light fruits, touch of honey
Taste of soft sweet fruits, touch of honey, light sweet citrus, nothing much else here
Palate - Light body, oily, glycerine, fairly sweet. Finish as main flavour
Overall - Wasn’t all that impressed with this - Alechemy can brew far better than this....very average
