500ml bottle from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. Clear gold with small white head, nice lasting top with lacing. Aroma of malts, apple peel, some fruitiness. Taste is grainy, soapy, some perfume, lemon, grapefruit, moderate bitter bite. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Its ok.

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a pale straw with a sizeable foamy white head and good lacing. The aroma has berry fruits plus some malts. In the mouth it starts off sweet and juicy but gradually becomes bitter. Main flavours are floral hops and apples plus some traces of generic citrus and low carbonation. Finish is quite bitter and slightly dry. This is decent and distinctly quaffable.

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Very light gold and clear with a perfect little white head on top. Smoky malt aroma with light orchard fruit. Sweet taste at first with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Thin body with soft carbonation. This is a pretty good beer and slightly different from the descriptions in the other rates so I'm wondering if they've refined the recipe or if I'm just easy.

Cask handpump at The Bull Baiters, St John’s, Worcester Saturday 17th September 2016 Pours gold in colour, good clarity and a very small white head. Decent golden ale, I get a tiny bit of Burton Snatch on the nose, a little buzzy bitterness, lacks a little depth when compared to the other beers here, but still good, just read the commercial description when adding my rating and wow I never had this down as a cask conditioned lager.
