Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco . L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma color beige resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella media . La forza gustativa è elevata e permane in maniera duratura. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è inteso. Al palato arrivano sentori di zuccherino, caramello, miele, cioccolato, liquirizia, agrumi, arance amara, mandarino, mela, marron glacé, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum, chiodi di garofano, salsa di soia e vaniglia.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning, a little bit past the BBE date. Presented as a stout! Black color. Dense beige head with good retention. Aroma's: big coriander, dark berries, chocolatey. Retronasal mainly coriander, light chocolate. Flavor is light moderate sweet, fruity sour, berries, spicy. Medium bodied. Spicy bitterish finish. Not even too bad, but the coriander doesn't go very well with this (type of) beer.

Fancy 33cl bottle, thanks Manon! ABV is 8.5%, brewer labels it as an Italian Stout. Gusher. Dark brown to black colour, huge beige head. Aroma of wood, balsamic vinegar, clearly infected, some coffee and dark fruits. Flavour is light sweet, tart, wood, balsamic vinegar, coffee, dark fruits, caramel, tart-bitter finish. Medium bodied, firm carbonation. Infection made this an interesting Flemish Red - Stout crossover.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark, nutty brown with a creamy and lacing off-white head. Massive gusher. Slightly bretty nose, balsamico. Medium body, sweet dark dried fruits, overripe figs, brown sugars, metallic. Clearly infected but not necessarily horrible. 271216

Bottle @ Salling Ølfestival. Light gusher that pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, belgian yeast, wood, dried fruit, light sourness. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, yeast, candy sugar, fruit, a light oaklike tartness. Medium body, soft carbonation, light tart finish. Not the sourness is intentional, but it work allright. 120316

Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As San Michele Turandot ].ABV: 8.5%. Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, caramel, candy, mint, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, mint, fruity malt, dark malt, sweet malt, candy - yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. [20151228]

Bottled. A deep red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, alcohol, wood, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, straw, alcohol, caramel, and fruits, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Dark pour with beige head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, some herbal and floral hoppy action into the finish.
