(Bottle) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricot marmalade, mandarin, passion-fruit, honey, pine needles and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of mandarin peel, apricot marmalade, passion-fruit, pine needles, honey, caramel, pink grapefruit and a generous piney, citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quiet sweet. Fresh, tasty and well made. Very nice.

Looks like IPA, from a bomber. Smell is mild pine. Big rocky head. First taste impressions is over the top pale ale that borders on IPA territory. Many IPA are not this strong in hoppyness. Yes, big blasting IPA hops. Typical laggy, in yer face ale. What’s new pussycat? Rude mah fah. Does not hide alky well. Not impressed. Sorry I bought a bomber for $4. But I wanted the tick, so there, you have it.

Aroma is resin hops malt with green and a little citrus. Flavor is somewhat like nose with interesting interplay between bitter and sweet as they go back and forth for being dominant and carbonation to mix it up further. Great body. Very nice beer.

Sampled on draft at Johnny’s Wife’s Place in Jeannette this beer poured a copper color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tart and tangy with fruity and piney hops. The flavor was sweet and sugary with fruity and piney hops, tropical fruit and a yeasty undertone. Long sweet fruity hop finish. Moderately full bodied. Excellent

Bottle. Clear rose gold with a large white head. Aroma of pine needles, menthol, sap, bread, grapefruit. Nice- certainly very piney but somehow not aggressively so. Slightly moreso in the taste though, although the pale malt and (I guess) the oats) are firm enough to hold up well enough without making the beer heavy at all. Briefly quite bitter with a woodsy punch at the end. Alcohol is not obvious. Good.

22 fl oz bottle. Dark golden in the glass. Very fruity on the nose. Taste starts fruity, resin malt and naturally hop. All in a smooth balance. A really nice one.
